Taking in six locations around the country, GTM brings the party to you for a full day of incredible music and seriously fun times.

    GTM is the perfect way to explore paths less travelled with your mates. There’s plenty to experience on the way to each Moo and once there you can indulge in what makes GTM and each of the regions special – a combination of our communities, artists, local food and beverages.

    Our line up for GTM 2017 welcomes a huuuuuuuge contingent of some of our country’s finest – just look at the triple j Hottest 100 results! Taking to our stages will be Amy Shark (#2 “Adore”), Tash Sultana (#3 “Jungle” and #32 “Notion”), The Smith Street Band (#21 “Death To The Lads”), Montaigne (#25 “Because I Love You”) and GTM alumni Violent Soho (#14 “Viceroy” plus four other tracks!) who will close our outdoor stages in true Hell F&*k Yeah style!

    This year, we’re chuffed to host a bunch of incredible artists from overseas. There’s a huge variety on offer; from The Darkness (UK) who will bring their relentless mix of riffarama and effortless haute couture, to 21-year-old emcee Loyle Carner (UK) who is heading down under for the first time. Milky Chance (GER) will travel with a stack of tracks from their soon to be released album, Blossom including current smash single “Cocoon” (#12 Hottest 100). Returning to the GTM tour for the 2nd time are our good friends The Wombats (UK), who will be calling on you to help them celebrate their 10th anniversary.

    Steve Halpin of Cattleyard Promotions said;
    “We’re thrilled with our line up for 2017. It’s a mixture of established, nostalgic and breaking artists and we think there’s something there for everyone. And, as always, it’s so great to be working alongside each of our six beloved regions to deliver a diverse range of local delights at every show.”

    Stay tuned for our Fresh Produce artists and full community programs, along with the return of our GTM Design Comp which will be revealed in the coming weeks.

    NEW VENUE FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIA
    As announced a few weeks ago, GTM’s new South Australian home is Wayville’s Adelaide Showground. The new site is very easily accessible by multiple transport methods – planes, trains and automobiles! In addition, there are trams, buses, car convoys and road trips with your mates, plus the Showground has its very own train station. With so many options we’re encouraging people from all over South Australia to make their way to Wayville for a long weekend of moo-hem.

    triple j Unearthed
    Like last year and plenty of years before that, triple j are on the lookout for one artist from each area that GTM stops in to add to the 2017 line up. Past winners include legends like SAFIA, Coda Conduct and Timberwolf and we’re excited to find even more gems in 2017. The competition is open now and all you need to do is have your best tunes up on the triple j Unearthed website by midnight on Sunday 26th February. For more info, head here!

    SHOOT THE MOO
    The Wombats (UK) have a long standing friendship with GTM playing our festival in 2011. We’re thrilled to announce that they have jumped on board for SHOOT THE MOO 2017. The competition gives budding photographers aged between 16 – 25 the chance to shoot The Wombats from the front of the stage, under the guidance of one of the touring GTM photography team. For more details and how to enter, visit http://www.shootthemoo.com(.)

    CATTLE CREW
    GTM’s Cattle Crew launched last year, herding up those who have a passion for their town, GTM and life in general. The love and vibes felt from last year were so overwhelming, we had to bring it back for 2017! To be a part of our Crew, head to http://www.gtm.net.au for more information.
